Ecosystem & Networks

Overview

This module explores how Vocational Education and Training (VET) centres can move beyond working in isolation to thrive within ecosystems that connect them to companies, public administrations, universities, social partners and international networks. It explains what a VET ecosystem is and why it matters, then works through its core themes — dual education and learning by doing, public-private partnerships (PPPs), regional ecosystems, knowledge exchange alongside industry experts, and European and international educational networks. The central message is that effective VET is not only about delivering content but about connecting learning to the real world of work, so that learners gain practical experience, up-to-date skills and direct access to employment opportunities.
