Internationalisation

Overview

This module explores how Vocational Education and Training (VET) centres can embed internationalisation as a systemic institutional process rather than a set of isolated mobility activities, helping them operate as regional leaders in a globalised economy. It frames internationalisation around two interconnected dimensions — Institutional Internationalisation Capacity (strategy and governance, partnerships and networks, participation in international projects, visibility and positioning, and regional development) and International Learning and Mobility (learner and staff mobility, internationalisation of curriculum, language competence, and intercultural learning and global skills). Through these dimensions, the module shows how centres can move from isolated international activities toward a more strategic and sustainable model that strengthens institutional performance, learner development, and regional innovation.
